Winter Blues, Jan 24, 2023

Sweet 16 and all its bends lead me up and over the Big Horn Mountains just in time to witness the sun's rays light up the rock faces and settle on the valley's floor. The winter blues gave the impression that the fridged temperatures had wrapped their icicles around every inch of the forest. The bitter air bit at my nose and numbed my cheeks as I photographed the effect of the sunset, for it offered little warmth but a postcard-perfect winter scene. Oh, the joy Wyoming winter brings.
