Resignation, April 12, 2023

The rain was undesirable but inevitable as Mother Nature had plans that did not include a picnic in the park. The girls dashed for their cars, but not before sprinkles of rain descended from the heavens. As they walked back to collect their belongings, under the protection of their umbrella, something magical happened.

The rain no longer catered to their resignation but added to their celebration as they danced and splashed about, sharing roars of laughter. They had been friends for years, enduring many hardships and a mountain of joy not to allow a little weather to ruin it now.
