Replace Disconnection with Desire, April 19, 2023

I became engulfed in the silence when I witnessed the cabin's isolation in the forest. What once had my constant attention was terminated as I watched the snow fall from the treetops and listened to the breeze whistle around me.

I grappled for my cellphone to snap a picture, and the irony struck me strangely. The gadget that brought me constant disruptions in the city was also a tool to capture tranquility in the mountains.

At that moment, I saw the importance of investigating the disturbances and dissatisfaction in my life to attempt to find the good within each before disconnecting. Terminating and replacing the disconnection with desire could help me develop deeper connections and better understand who and what I choose to entertain.
