Not Created to be Alone, May 13, 2023

Being alone on the ranch weighed heavily on me, and seeing the old cow wandering alone in the distance made me feel even more down. It's strange how I felt like that old cow, and I could have sat together and shared our stories of sadness. The life of a rancher can be lonely, and I imagine that cows feel the same way when they separate from their herd. Nothing can replace the companionship that friends and family provide.
