The highlander was more interested in what I was doing than concentrating on her interests. She crept forward but stopped and turned back as if to say, what are you doing now?

We all find ourselves doing that in life. We inch forward but then stop to concern ourselves with what everyone else is doing. When we should move confidently in the direction that interests us most, by doing so, we will pave a path rather than following everyone else's.
