Gather at the Table, March 5, 2023

The laughter, discipline, and love shared at the table draw sweet memories for me. I wrap each with my heart and hold them close, for they are a lifeline to another time. A time I long to relive but accept I can not, for one of the chairs is empty. Time is sweet, but it is a thief robbing me of more cherished moments while gathered at the table.
