Feelings of Inadequacy, May 27, 2023
Watching my son graduate today from West Point Point Military Academy, I feel inadequate. How could I have given birth to a man like him? He came from as my loins, yet I find I am looking into the eyes of a stranger. He left home a boy and now stands before me as a man willing to serve his country. He has a brilliant mind and has completed a degree from one of the most prestigious colleges in America! I am humbled, and I am proud. I am honored to be his mother, and I feel incredibly blessed.
