Do It, Do It, June 5, 2023

As I watched, a young man gathered his courage to jump from the pier while the crowd cheered him on. The cold water and bouncing waves caution him against making a hasty decision. Despite his discomfort, I knew he would leap to gain acceptance from his peers and meet the crowd's expectations. I found it difficult to witness. His facial expression revealed his heart, but his desire to fit in was more potent than his judgment.
