The essence of emotions is a wondrous enigma that captivates the hearts of all who dare to ponder. Each soul, despite sharing the same reality, experiences its own kaleidoscope of feelings. The query that beckons the wise is to unearth the root of these reactions. Is it the stories that weaved our tapestries of life that govern our heart's response? Or does the symphony of chemicals in our mortal vessels shift with the sands of time, leaving our emotions as a riddle to even the most learned scholars?

I have no idea. I am not a therapist or a doctor who has researched emotions and developed a theory. No, I am a 47-year-old woman with a curious mind as to why I have reacted to the happiest moments and the gravest devastations as I have and why others responded differently. There is likely no answer, but I love how we are all unique, and my curiosity continues.

Recently, a colleague, a psychiatrist, challenged me to explore my curiosity about emotions for 90 days by attempting to attach different emotions to my photographs, and I accepted.

So for the next 90 days, that is my plan. Please follow and engage with me through this challenge.
