Bittersweet, April 9, 2023

The young cowboy was bittersweet when he thought about the one who had stolen and broken his heart after she had her fun. He hadn't seen it coming and was sure it was a sin when he watched her walk away with that silly little grin. The humiliating part was over, but now he had a scar. He was sure it was a reminder not to frequent dive bars. He bowed silently and pulled his hat over his eyes to ensure the angels couldn't see him cry.
