They laugh because I am different.

I laugh because it’s my choice.

They are angry because I fought back.

I’m angry because they crossed boundaries.

They are annoyed because I asked a question.

I’m annoyed because I lacked instructions.

They are pleased because I was compliant.

I am pleased because they got it right.

They are, but so am I.
